Mercy, Forgiveness, Grace & God's Gift...

Psalm 51:1;  1Have mercy on me, O God, because of your loyal love! Because of your great compassion, wipe away my rebellious acts!   2Wash away my wrongdoing!   (from the pen of David & the heart of God)

( * )He showed us Mercy by sparing us in the Garden, and then providing a way out of darkness...

Colossians 1:13 & 14; 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood,[c] the forgiveness of sins.   (from the pen of Paul & the heart of God)

( * )That way out of darkness, the simple fact that the Father God, sent forth His only begotten Son Jesus, to provide a Light in the midst of the darkness, and pave the way for total, complete and eternal Forgiveness...

Romans 6:12 - 14; 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. 13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.   (from the pen of Paul & the heart of God)

( * )Christ sealed the fate of all believers on His work on the Cross, ending the age of the Law and ushering us into that wonderful age we live in now - the age of Grace, where God's Grace is shed upon all men.  While His spirit only resides in the heart of Men & Women He has called to Himself, His Wonderful, Miraculous, Compassionate Grace is blessed to all men of this age.

Romans 6:20 - 23;  20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.   (from the pen of Paul & the heart of God)

( * )While God's Glorious Grace is common to all men as it pertains to keeping the world in check, with God's hand balancing the evil one's influence in this world, that is all about to change!  The wages of sin is death!  God's Gift of eternal life, paid for thru His Precious Son's Blood on Calvary, is only offered during the age of Grace.  For those that turn their back on Christ during the age of Grace, will experience Him turning His back on them at the Great Judgment.  He is coming, very soon, those that are called to Him need to be found busy in His work.  Those that do not know this Jesus, or have a relationship with Him, need to seek Him out - or face eternal damnation and destruction in the very real place called Hell.

For since the Garden of Eden, and Adam's choice to do his will, instead of the will and desire of God, all men have had the curse to die at least one death, that of the physical body.  BUT, through Christ, we need not face the second death of the Spirit.  For in Christ's work, bloodshed, death, burial and resurrection, He, Christ has paid the price to ransom our Spirit, and reserve to Himself as His eternal bride.

We, those that know Him as Savior and Lord, have submitted our hearts to Him willingly, and "enjoy" the relationship of His Lordship and Kinship.  If you too would like to know this man called Jesus, in a Spiritual relationship that makes all others pale, contact me, I will introduce Him to you...

Use Me Dear Father...

Dear Father God in Heaven, our Dear Precious Lord, help us not to seek the applause of our friends and colleagues, but rather to look to You for approval.

Teach us to put into practice the principles of the Sermon on the Mount, and Paul's letters to the Church in Galatia...

Father give us the desire to Seek, Learn and Grow from and in Your Doctrines, for they are given to teach us Your character and expectations for Purity of Heart, Righteousness in our walk, and Holiness of Spirit to seek after you.

Please Father, let those of my generation that know these things, share them with Joy and conviction with today's generation.

In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

MY - Shepherd...

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall NOT want....

The Lord, the Creator, the One and Only Sovereign God, the Owner and Keeper of all that was, that is and that will ever be...  This omnipotent supreme creator poured His self into the creation of the world, and all of its inhabitants, not the least of which was His prize creation, man, and from the man's rib, woman...

He created these beings to walk with Him, to converse with Him and to commune with Him in everlasting peace and beauty.  But; due to the influence of the evil one, man chose to sin with His eyes wide open, and choose his own way over that of Almighty God.  Condemning the entire human race to physical and spiritual death.

However; He had a plan, through the annals of time to provide complete redemption for man, through the sacrifice of His very own Son.  Today dear folks I am here to tell you - that Savior is My Lord...

The Lord is MY Shepherd, I have chosen HIM, to learn to die to myself and allow His Lordship and Leading to be the only influence that I listen to - forsaking all others before Him.  That through that submission and yielding HE will make me a better Son, a better Brother, a better Husband, a better Father, a better Grand-Father, a better Friend and a better servant to Christ as well as those around me.  He is My Shepherd, to His Voice I will harken, I will keep my eyes on Him, for in my flesh I know if I take my eyes off my Shepherd, I will truly lose my way.

The Lord is MY Shepherd; I shall NOT want...         Oh Dear Father in Heaven, hear my voice, hear my cries for strength, for my Heart Longs for Jesus, yet my flesh is so weak.  Please give me strength to continue forward, one second at a time, one heart beat at a time, one step at a time.  Don't let me look back for a second, purge from my heart the desires of this world, let me thirst for that Living Water every second of my life...  Help me remember that You and You alone will meet my needs, and when my heart is yielded to you, you will meet my wants as they align with your will.  In that knowledge, in that walk, I Truly Shall NOT Want for anything but more time with You and Your Mercy, Grace and Blessing.

Yes LORD, You are My Shepherd, to whom I have learned to love in the depth and core of my Heart and Mind...  You alone know the depth of my pain and emptiness, and have filled me to overflowing with the Water that Eternally quenches the thirst of a man's heart.  As you sanctify this heart and life, Lord let me speak your precious name to everyone you place on my path that is seeking a Shepherd of Peace.  Keep me on the path of righteousness in spite of the arrows and stones I endure, and I will praise you all the days of my life.  Glory to Your Mighty Name - Jesus the Christ & Lord...

Peace, Be Still…

One of my favorite Christian Male Vocalist is Mr. Allan Hall.  On his album “House of a Thousand Dreams”, he recorded a piece titled “Nearer My God To Thee / Peace Be Still”.  I have played this work quite a bit lately, for through the valleys we crave that closeness with our Heavenly Father.  This song, exemplifies the heartfelt desire to be closer / nearer to God when walking those valley floors.

Here are the words to that beautiful piece by Allan Hall…

Nearer, my God, to Thee, nearer to Thee!
Even though it be the cross that raiseth me,
Still all my song shall be, nearer, my God, to Thee.

Nearer, my God, to Thee,
Nearer to Thee!

Though like the wanderer, the sun gone down,
Darkness be over me, my rest a stone.
Yet in my dreams I'd be, nearer, my God, to Thee.

Nearer, my God, to Thee,
Nearer to Thee!

He says peace, peace be still
Lifts His hands, peace be still

And like a child the winds obey Him
When He says peace be still

He says peace, peace be still
Lifts His hands, peace be still

And like a child my heart obeys Him
When He says peace be still
Hear His voice peace be still

We as Christians, still physically bound to the sinful flesh, sometimes yield that closeness to our Heavenly Father for our own will, desires, and judgments.  We allow circumstances to weaken our faith, and decide to take things into our own hands.  We get tired of waiting on God, and conjure our own solutions to life’s problems.

As many great Biblical men of our past have learned, God’s time is not necessarily our desired time frame.  But just as Moses, Joshua, Abraham and Sarah learned, God answers prayer, in His time and for His purpose.  We are to continue our prayer, earnestly, with conviction and heart, He hears the prayers of righteous men and women with no un-confessed sin in their hearts.  He hears those prayers and answers them in His Good Time and Will.

While praying and waiting, we must pray to be nearer, closer, and humbled in His presence, so that we will hear His voice in the quiet of His rest.  If we become impatient and rush to our own conclusions and answers to the problem, we will get the result of that hasty decision.  Which in most cases, causes great pain, not just to ourselves but to those we love and care for around us.

To hear His voice in our lives and heart – we must be peaceful – quiet, we must be still, recognizing both His sovereignty in our Lives, as well as His Authority in this world…  Nothing passes through the annals of time without passing through His Hand.  All things, regardless of their appearance to us at the time, are to work for good, and His Glory.

We must learn to draw close to Him in the bad times as well as the good times…  Yes, when everything is going well, our faith must continue and build, so that when we enter the Valleys, we are already praying and reaching for His hand.  Trust, comes with open eyes to look back over our lives to see His hand consistently working in our lives.  Faith, is believing in that which you don’t necessarily see, while we don’t see Him physically, we can and do see the results of His work in our lives.  Thank Him, for everything, even the little things that you may feel insignificant…  It is in that heart of Thanks that you see His Face, His Love and His Work in your life, in the little things as well as the big ones.

Dear Father, draw me nearer to Thee…  Help Me Dear Jesus, to cling to Your Peace, and be Still – forever waiting on Thee!

His Love For Us...

Have you ever asked your spouse - "Honey do you Love Me, do you Really Love Me"?  Marriage is to be the ultimate earthly example of Christ's love for us, giving us a real picture into the depth and scope of His Love for each one of us.

The Passion of the Season is but a dimmed glimpse into the awesomeness of the events and "Heart" of Christ in His obedience and sacrifice for the human race...  Obedience to the Father, in fulfilling the mission of redemptive ransom for the kidnapped children of the Father by the evil one.  Sacrifice, in that He put the precious "nearness" of His Father off to the side long enough to endure the horrid physical and emotional pain that this ugly world would throw at Him...  As well and the unbearable pain of separation from the Father - which was the worst of the pain He endured.  Being God in the flesh, Christ went to that old cross with each and every name of us on His mind, willingly carrying your name and mine to that cross.

Christ - Do You Love Me?  Why yes my child I do!  I carried through time, eternity present back to eternity past - in my economy of time, I carried your name with me to that old tree...  I have given you this gift, an offer to "free you" from the bonds of sin.  All you have to do is, Trust, Believe and then Walk with Me in Faith that I will fulfill all the promises of my Father which has sent me.  Why yes my Child I do Love You - even when you walk in the sin of the evil one, I loved you enough to die for you on that tree...  Now My Child - Do You Love Me - enough to let the ways of the world by the side and follow ME?  With His arms wide open He calls to us, "come unto Me and I will give you rest"...

"Honey - Do you love me?"

The next time you hear those words, remember that we are to yield to our Spouse in obedience to the Father - Just as His Son did to redeem His Bride - the Church.  Men and women, are you dying to self to show your spouse the depth and scope of Christ's love through you?  Church, are you spreading your arms wide open, to unconditionally love the ones that dare to enter your doors in this fallen generation?  If HE would walk among us physically, would He witness HIS LOVE shown to each other?

Are WE - reflecting HIS  LOVE  FOR  US...

Dear Father in Heaven - Forgive us for our unkind, hurtful, sinful ways - for we look thru the glass dimly and strain to see your Righteouness...  Lord, please do not hold to their account those that have hurt us, and sinned against us.  Teach us dear Jesus to Love those of this world as you Loved them - Unconditionally, Sacrifically and Completely...  Then Father, when presented the opportunity to show your Love with our words, actions and deeds, let us do it in YOUR NAME - the Holy Name of Christ Jesus!  It is in that name we pray - Amen...

Be Still...

Psalm 46:10

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Father - as I stand back and trace your hand in my life in this deep valley, I am humbled by your Glory and Grace. The Dear, Dear Friends and Family you have ushered into my presence has comforted and counseled me.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Dear Father, thy rod and thy staff do comfort me, for they bear  your Glory, your Strength and your Grace showing me mercy when I do not deserve it.

Thank You Father for this day's portion of grace to walk the valley arm in arm with You...

Praise God!

Psalm 23

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Dear Precious Father - Please usher peace, restoreth my soul, keep me on the path through these valleys and I will give you Praise, Honor and Glorify YOUR Name!  Amen...

Is His Love - In Our Love?

Men, Are we showing our wives the Love of Christ in everything we say and do with and for them?  If not, you're missing the whole point of Christ's sacrifice on the cross for you!

He Loved Us - So Much; He gave His very Life for us!  That level of commitment, sacrifice, love and courage is what we must show to our wives, and our families, every minute of every day...

If that is not a product of your Christian Heart - either you don't get it, or you need a health check for your Spiritual Condition...
